Halloween 2012

Halloween 2012

The week of Halloween in pictures:
Some fun times at the pumpkin patches.

This boy loves the hay maze.

“I did it!”

In about 4 years or less, this girl will be taking equestrian lessons!
She is a natural and is in love with horses.

The Cat in the Hat with Thing 1 and Thing 2 and the Fish in the Pot

“It’s fun to have fun, but you have to know how.”
“Two things.  And I call them
Thing One and Thing Two.”

The Things and Aunt Alex

On our way to the neighborhood pre-trick-or-treating party.
I started the tradition of gathering the kids and families together for a party,
and since then, the party is “handed off” to another neighbor each year.
Our friends, Richard and Mary Beth, hosted the party this year.
Thanks, y’all!

Audrey and Blake

The whole crew, plus or minus a few.

Setting out in pursuit of candy.
Audrey was into it; Keegan not so much.
He was “strongly encouraged” to go up to a handful of houses
but chose to stay in the wagon after that.

“Trick or treat, Mr. Carl!”

Audrey was quite proud of her small amount of candy.
She wanted some immediately this morning when she woke up.

Gotta have some ghost cake!
It wouldn’t be Halloween in the Harrison/Huffman houses without chili and ghost cake.

Keegan got to pick the pumpkin carving theme this year.
No one but Donald Duck!
